Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you're enjoying the views!
I love the solitude and majesty of nature. And I love photographing creation in all her beauty!  I've been taking photographs of one kind or another for over 40 years.  Sure the technology has changed, but my passion has not.  Professional Photography is not my "day job," but rather something I just love to do. Yet my vocation as minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), provides me opportunities to combine visual and artistic gifts with a calling from God.  Indeed, for me, they go hand in hand. My calling as a preacher is to proclaim God’s Word.  And while that is mostly accomplished through the sharing of Scripture, there are other methods.  This is where my vocation and my avocation (or hobby) intersect.  My interest as a photographer is to present the wonders of God—to glimpse the beauty that is God’s world and share it with others.
I received my B.A. in Professional Photography from the historic Brooks Institute.  And my Master of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
Equipment wise, over the years I've shot with everything from a Kodak Instamatic to a Minolta 110.  My first SLR was a Minolta X-370, and then I joined the Nikon family starting with a N6006, followed by a N8008s, N90s, and N80.  My first digital body (DSLR) was a D70, followed by the D200, D300, D750.  I'm currently using Nikon's full-frame mirrorless camera, the revolutionary Z 6. But in a quote attributed to Ansel Adams, "the best camera is the one you have with you."

Let the heavens rejoice and the earth be happy!
Let the sea and everything in it shout for joy!
Let the fields and everything in them be happy!
Let the trees in the forest sing for joy
(Psalm 96:11-12)
